Hello there! I'm Sharan, a passionate event content creator based in Edmonton, AB Canada with a love for all things intimate and unique.
I had my own big Indian wedding in 2022, and battled through all the social media pressures to have a perfect, out of this world wedding. At the end of the day, I just wanted to be present and enjoy the moment.
I waited months for pictures and videos, relying on my memory and the photos captured by family members to relive some of those moments. But nothing quite captured how I felt. I was always the one at friend's weddings making reels and capturing the behind the scenes, and realized I didn't have anyone there to do that for me!
That is where Socials by Sharan was born. I have dedicated myself to capturing moments of joy, love, and connection during some of the most important and hectic days of peoples' lives. No need to stress family/friends or have them send you videos-that's my job!

FAQ's
Do you travel?
Yes! I am open to travel based on my availability. Travel and accomodation expenses will apply. Send me an email with your requested dates and locations and we can discuss.
How far in advance are you booking?
As of July 2023: I am booking into the end of August 2024.
Do I need to let my photographers or videographers know I've hired a content creator?
Yes please. Content creation is not meant to replace photography or videography and it is a very new vendor category. Prior to booking my services, please let your photographer and videographer know you are planning on having a content creator. The best content is collaborative content!
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required at time of booking to secure the date and finalize the booking.
Are you 2SLGBTQI+ friendly?
Yes I am!
